BABIES

HOW TO GET THEM READY FOR THEIR PHOTOSHOOT!

Feed and Burp Baby Before the Shoot

If your baby has a full tummy they are far more likely to be agreeable throughout the photo shoot. Babies LOVE TO SLEEP (During the day at least) they are much more likely to fall into a deep sleep on a full stomach.A content baby will make it easier for your photographer to capture plenty of sleeping baby shots. Plus, when your baby is asleep arranging them in all those adorable poses is much easier.

Where possible, it’s also a great idea to plan your photoshoot around babies nap times - if you’re looking for those cute sleepy photos arrive to your photoshoot with baby just about to nod off to get the best results whereas if you’re looking to have a happy smiling baby, plan your photoshoot just after your babies nap time so they’re at their most happy!

PATIENCE IS THE KEY - DON'T RUSH THEM

OUTFITS

Simple & neutral is our recommendation to you..

Bring the cutest outfits you have, but be sure they are easy to put on. Anything that helps to highlight their gorgeous eyes is more than welcome!

Remember that bringing 10 outfits might seem like a great idea but changing a baby 10 times and expecting them to be settled is not realistic. Find yourself some simple, neutral toned outfits help emphasise their cuteness!

Please bring along with you any headbands, wraps, blankets and heirloom or teddy as it helps to personalise your babies photoshoot!

Pick a key colour and work around that, for example if you choose blue, have everyone wear a mix of navy, white and blue. These colours blend well together, so your family style will be cohesive.

Choose all cool colours, or all warm colours. Cool colours are greys, blues, purples and some pinks. Warm colours are browns, reds, oranges and yellows.
